Octoberfair

WHAT IS OCTOBERFAIR?

Octoberfair is an all-day, fun-filled event for the entire family! It is the carnival part of our traditional premiere fundraising event called Mayfair. The carnival is one of the community events for the school and is a substantial part of our fund raising efforts. During Octoberfair, the school grounds are transformed into an amusement park filled with activities. They will include carnival rides and games, Bungee trampoline, climbing wall, arcade games, silent auction, bake sale, children's arts and crafts, Halloween costume shop, 50/50 raffle and a used book and video sale!

The food booths will include bratwursts, hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill, a beer garden, homemade Mexican food and the traditional carnival foods of cotton candy, popcorn, nachos and snowcones!

WHEN AND WHERE IS OCTOBERFAIR?

Octoberfair is typically held on the first weekend in October at Sacred Heart of Jesus School. All events on Saturday and Sunday are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come and see how we transform a first-class school into a first-rate celebration of Catholic education and community.

YOU are Octoberfair!!!!…. plus many, many other volunteers and donors.

HOW CAN I HELP?

Call the chairpersons or look in the weekly school newsletter or church bulletin for Octoberfair updates. You will have the chance to volunteer for a variety of jobs.

WHO DO I CALL?

Father Bill Breslin is the honorary Chairman (303) 442-6158. Co-Chairpersons are selected each year and you can call them with questions, suggestions, or ideas. Please contact the school office for more information.
