Our Computer Teacher

Rosemary Samuelson – Computer – Kindergarten – 8th Grade

Mrs. Samuelson was born and raised in Casper, Wyoming. She received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Gonzaga University and attended Gonzaga-in Florence, Italy her junior year. Mrs. Samuelson completed her Masters of Education in Technology from Lesley University in May 2001. Mrs. Samuelson taught computer technology for eight years at St. John the Baptist in Longmont, plus substituted and taught for St. Vrain School District.

Mrs. Samuelson and her husband, Mike, have lived in Longmont for 31 years. Their oldest son Shawn and his wife Peggy live in Salida, Co. He is president of Salida Winnelson. Chris is a pilot with Great Lakes Airlines and is currently training to be a Captain. Their youngest son Nick graduated from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona with a civil engineering degree.

Mrs. Samuelson is very excited about the new computers in the Lab and looking forward to a sensational seventh year at SHJ. Mrs. Samuelson is listed in the 2005-2006 edition of Who’s Who Among America’s Educators. She loves to fish and play golf in her free time.
