The seventh and eighth grade art curriculum is based on a concrete foundation implementing the elements and principles
of art in a discipline-based structure. These include art production, art history, art criticism and aesthetic understanding. In art production, we explore various mediums, including paint, pencil, clay, wire, paper, printmaking and batik. Students are expected to listen, learn, integrate and apply developed knowledge to their individual works of art. Art is 5 days a week for a trimester.
