The Gabriel Project at Sacred Heart
of Jesus Parish is
Help, hope and healing
to any pregnant woman in need.
Then the angel said to
her, “do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with
God.” -- Luke 1:30
In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel
was sent from God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth to a virgin
betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin’s
name was Mary. And coming to her, he said, “Hail,
full of grace! The Lord is with you.” -- Luke 1:26-28
The Gabriel Project is a faith-based
outreach program to bring to pregnant women in need the same message
of hope that the Angel Gabriel brought to Mary. The Gabriel Project
pairs up local pregnant women in need, regardless of their faith,
with trained volunteers from the Parish who provide support to the
women and their families throughout the pregnancy and beyond, as needed.
We respect all life, seeing the birth of each child as a fresh expression
of God’s unfailing love.
Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish participates
